The Design
The Rotonda is the democratic dining table — a perfect circle of white Calacatta marble where no seat is at the head because there is no head.
Six equals around a table where every conversation is a conversation with everyone. The gold trumpet pedestal rises from a broad base to a fine point of contact at the stone centre — a form that emphasises the floating quality of the marble disc above it. Round tables require more confidence than rectangular ones. This one earns it.
