Sofa Width vs Seating Capacity
The most common mistake in small rooms is choosing a 3-seater (typically 210–230 cm) when a 2-seater (160–180 cm) would comfortably seat three people with better arm placement. A sofa with 20 cm-wide rolled arms loses 40 cm of usable width. A sofa with slim 10 cm arms of the same external width seats four people. Always compare the 'seat width' specification, not the 'overall width' — the difference can be 30–40 cm in poorly specified products.
