How a nursing chair differs from an armchair
A nursing chair is engineered around the feeding routine, not just seating. The recline lets you settle into a supported feeding angle instead of hunching forward; the 360° swivel means you can turn to the cot, the door or a side table without disturbing a sleeping baby; and the rocking motion helps soothe both baby and parent. A standard armchair does none of these, which is why parents who start with an ordinary chair usually replace it within months.
