Hydraulic storage beds use gas-filled pistons in the bed frame to assist lifting the mattress platform, revealing under-bed storage. The mechanism supports 80-120 kg of stored items with minimal effort. Standard Indian household use (1-2 lifts per week) equals 50-100 lifts per year. A 10,000-cycle mechanism lasts 100+ years at this rate. Annual maintenance involves lubricating piston connection points. Storage capacity by size: queen provides 0.8-1 m3, king 1-1.2 m3. At SOISU, the hydraulic mechanism is named on the written specification you approve before production.
Gas-filled pistons assist lifting the mattress platform — standard storage capacity 80-120kg. This specification is critical for Indian buyers because local conditions differ significantly from European standards for which most furniture is designed. When evaluating options in Indian showrooms, ask for these specifications in writing with supporting test certificates from the manufacturer.
Quality Italian-sourced mechanisms are tested for Indian temperature range of 15-45 degrees C. For buyers in Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata and other Indian cities, verify these points with your supplier before purchase. Request the relevant material specification sheets and quality certificates. SOISU offers home measurement, technical drawings and 3D visualisation, and every order carries a signed drawing and specification.
